Christmas BazaarsChristmas in Suffield will be held on November 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Fellowship Hall at First Church will open at 9 a.m. with a craft fair, bake sale, attic treasures and a country store featuring Vermont cheeses, slab bacon and other delicacies. There will be a Victorian Tea in the church parlor featuring teas, sandwiches, desserts and a variety of teas. Admission to the tea is $12. Outside the parlor room, there will be a raffle for a hand-made afghan.

Across the street at the Second Baptist Church they will be selling plants, Christmas decorations, stitchery and knitted items, costume jewelry and a bake sale which also features jams, jellies and preserves. There will be attic treasures upstairs in the activity room. A luncheon will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, soup, clam chowder, apple crisp and coffee.

The Third Baptist Church will be featuring lovely Christmas arts and crafts from various vendors, a bake sale, a white elephant table and pick up some pecans for your holiday baking.

The Suffield Fire Department Auxiliary at the Mountain Road main firehouse will be selling jewelry, doll furniture, handspun textiles. Don’t forget to pick up special goodies at the Firehouse Bake Shop.

Sacred Heart Women’s Guild will host its Annual Christmas Bazaar with many crafters and baked goods. Delicious chili from Suffield Pizza will be available for luncheon enjoyment at the Cafe or take out will be featured this year. The alpacas will be back this year so that bazaar goers can see the source of the beautiful sock, scarves and sweaters on sale. The Bazaar is held in the parish hall, which is located at 446 Mountain Road (Route 168).

West Suffield Congregational Church will again have their SERRV International Bazaar featuring artisans from around the world, a bake sale and white elephant table. There will also be other vendor tables offering holiday gifts and a teacup auction. Hot soup, fresh bread and top it off with a piece of warm apple pie sold by the slice with a cup of steaming coffee will be offered.

Each organization hopes you will stop in and enjoy part of your day with them.
