The Suffield Polish Heritage Society will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 6, at 10 a.m. in the Suffield Ambulance Center.
John Dyl, Polish music disc jockey for WARE 1250 AM radio, will be the guest speaker. He will talk about how he got into radio broadcasting, especially Polish Music.
After the guest speaker, PHS members are invited to stay to discuss participation in the 350th Anniversary celebration in October 2020. Given that the Polish immigrants who came to Suffield in the early 1900s played a significant role in the town we have become today, we will be looking for ways to highlight their contributions and those of their descendants.”
