There is a new shop that has opened up to the left of the Highland Park Market. It is Shabby Abby’s Attic and its main product is distressed wood signs. It had been in that spot before, but the proprietor took time to get her two children to school age and is now there once more. In the meantime she has been still working on the rustic farmhouse inspired signs and has a large and varied inventory.

The signs can be custom made with family names, town names or anything else you wish to have and for any occasion. She also sells centerpiece boxes and hand painted monogramed stone coasters. And coming soon will be hand poured candles. In other words, a lot to look at and everything handmade by a very talented lady.

Her hours are Monday through Friday from 10 to 3, on Saturdays 10 to 1, and Thursday evenings 5 to 7. You also may call for an appointment at 860-990-5311 or find her on Facebook 24-7. Search Abby’s Attic.
