The West Suffield Village Improvement Association will hold its 12th annual Silver Tea on Saturday, December 2nd from 1–4 p.m. at Academy Hall (1499 Mountain Road). The local community is invited to enjoy a relaxing afternoon of tea or coffee and accompanying goodies plus a holiday raffle. After 11 years of offering the event, members Debbie Basdekis and Val Sullivan have “retired.” The Rusin family – Natalia Hancock, Nicolyn DePaolo and Linda Rusin – has taken up the challenge.
The event is free, but donations will be gladly accepted and will be used to maintain the 1855 school building which is available for rental from April to December for family parties and events.
