Stony Brook Village Is Taking Names

After reading the Observer’s November article about the large apartment complex being built on East Street South, a reader called to ask how someone can apply for one of the “affordable” units. Deb Krut, Executive Director of the Suffield Housing Authority, which is not involved with the new development, advises that inquiries should be addressed to Rick Tony of Dakota Partners, the developer. His phone number is 1-310-213-5310. (310 is a Los Angeles area code.)

This reporter had emailed Dakota Partners with the question and quickly received a reply saying that an informal waiting list was being kept; they anticipated that application forms would be available in December or January.

The apartment complex, originally called “The Hamlet,” is now “Stony Brook Village.”
