Did you know that there is a large amount of choral activity in Suffield? Maybe you know someone in a school choir, or a friend who sings in a church choir.
Our Suffield choirs sing various types of music such as musical theatre, pop music, sacred motets, opera, anthems, jazz, and the list goes on! Our Suffield choirs also provide wide services, offering music at school functions, putting on productions of music, offering music for worship, not to mention the musical and social development they offer the youth of our community.
Choir builds up an individual’s life with a sense of belonging and value, and enriches a community by strengthening it with interpersonal connections and music. Musical families form a language beyond words that is shared and understood.
Suffield Sings is a community choral event crafted and presented by local choirs and directors of music in Suffield. This concert will showcase our local choirs including the choirs at Suffield Academy, Sacred Heart Church, Second Baptist Church, First Church of Christ Congregational, Suffield Middle School, and Suffield High School.
Don’t miss this exciting event which will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 11 in the Suffield High School auditorium! A free will donation will be accepted at the door to benefit the event. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
