The Suffield Garden Club will hold a monthly meeting on Monday, February 5, at 11:45 a.m. at the Second Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 100 North Main Street. Coffee, tea and a light buffet luncheon precedes a business meeting and program. Guest fee is $5.00 and guests are cordially welcomed up to three visits per year.
Our guest speaker, Jeffrey Eleveld, is a certified horticulture therapist and adult education instructor. His presentation will entail a lecture on horticulture therapy. Horticulture therapy is the connection between people and plants. This connection is the essence of how and why gardening activities are such powerful catalysts for positive human development.
