A team from the Connecticut State Library came to the Suffield Senior Center on November 18 to collect digital documentation of Connecticut’s experience in the Great War.  They had invited local residents to participate in Remembering World War One: Sharing History/Pursuing Memories, a community-based centennial project of the library and UConn.

About a dozen folks came to be interviewed, comforted that they never had to lose control of their cherished memorabilia as it was scanned or photographed.  The CSL crew called it a very productive day.
