Sunshine celebrated Betty Dalgleish’s 93rd birthday. It ushered in one of Betty’s 16 great-grandchildren, “Addie-for–Adelaide,” her smallness and innocence a joy.
Wednesday, March 21 is Show and Tell evening at the Suffield Historical Society meeting, 7 p.m. at the Suffield Senior Center.
As more of my friends and relatives have downsized, moved, or died, I have become conscious of how much clutter I am leaving behind for my family to clean up after my death; and I’ve started making plans to reduce the number of my possessions, leaving me with a simple and tidy environment.
Our Polish ancestors started coming to Suffield almost 125 years ago. Upon arrival, most were farm laborers and domestic servants.
