Medicare Savings Program Update

Changes to the Medicare Savings Program (MSP) income limits were expected to go into effect on July 1. The Connecticut General Assembly restored funding as a part of the recently passed budget legislation, therefore the changes will not happen! Your eligibility for MSP benefits will be determined based on the same rules that CT DSS has been using. As long as you have not had a change in circumstances, you will keep getting your current MSP benefit. For more information, go online to or you can schedule an appointment to meet with one of our CHOICES counselors.
