Are you looking for some fun programs for the kids this summer? Overlooking the Connecticut River in Suffield, the fields and streams of Hilltop Farm are a great place to learn about the outside world.

Nature Kids Summer Programs

Little Bugs for ages 4-6, is a 2-hour program on Tuesdays; July 10 and 17, August 7 and 14, at $20 per day.

Conservation Explorers for ages 6-9, are weeklong sessions starting on either July 30 or August 6 at $150 per session.

Hilltop Explorers for ages 9-12+, is a weeklong session starting August 13 at $175 per session.

This summer FOFAH has partnered with Allison Zaczynski to offer Yoga at Hilltop Farm.

Yoga for Kids

The program will include themes of mindfulness, meditation, yoga and creating correlating art projects and games. Participants will engage in yoga hikes around the Hilltop Farm property, practicing yoga and mindfulness in the natural, peaceful setting. Call 860-758-0668 to register. The weeklong program is from 9 a.m. till noon starting July 9th. $150 per child.

Sunday Morning Yoga

Hour-long yoga classes on the lawn at Hilltop Farm every other Sunday starting July 7th. Classes will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Dates are July 8, July 22, August 5, and August 19. $10 per class.

Suffield’s Allison Zaczynski is the owner of “Fit-Bliss with Allison”. She is a registered yoga instructor and professional child educator.

Cinema under the Stars

Join Cub Scout troop 266 on Saturday, July 28 for a showing of ET on the lawn at Hilltop Farm. Gates open at 7 p.m., and showtime is at 8:30 p.m. Bring a blanket and a picnic. Cost is $15 per carload. Rain date is August 11.
