Although it may not be widely recognized, Suffield has a vibrant arts community. This summer, that community will have the opportunity to flourish and come together through the Suffield Arts Festival. On July 14, local artists will convene at Bruce Park for a day full of performances and activities, all while honoring the themes of unity, peace, love, and hope. The Festival will begin at 2 p.m., and will be held outdoors. Songs, dances, plays, comedy and more will keep you entertained all throughout the day! There will also be a variety of other activities to engage in – acting workshops, group painting, art galleries, music lessons and more! If you have a portfolio you wish to display or have dreamed of passing on your painting skills, email Suffield Youth Theater to sign up for a booth to display your art at the Festival.

Additionally, Suffield Youth Theatre is looking for groups or solo acts to contribute to this Arts Festival. If you or your group are interested in performing, please contact Suffield Youth Theater through this email: info@suffieldyouththeater.org. You do not have to be from Suffield to participate! Admission is free! There will be food trucks at the event and t-shirts for sale!

Suffield Youth Theater was founded in 2015 by a group of local high school students with a vision of bringing people together to produce quality productions. Since then, the group has been successful in putting on main stage productions, original works, improv shows, workshops, and now is excited to host the Suffield Arts Festival to provide opportunities for middle and high school students in the area to express themselves through the performing arts. Don’t miss the Suffield Arts Festival on July 14!
