9/5: Communion Luncheon in the Ebenezer Gay Room. Choir rehearsals begin – every Wed, Pilgrim Choir at 5 p.m., and Chancel Choir at 7 p.m.
9/8-9/9: Suffield on the Green. Stop by the Church booth and Bake Sale, information on services, programs, and support group availability.
9/12, 19, 26: Bible Study, 10 a.m. in the Ebenezer Gay Room
9/16: Kick-Off Sunday at First Church! Join us for Worship at 10 a.m. and then for our Kick off directly following in the Ebenezer Gay Room at 11:15 a.m.. Booths will be set up after worship so that all can learn about the programs and activities being offered by First Church during the coming year. This year’s kick-off theme is ‘Make Room’. Light refreshments will be served.
The Kick-Off is designed to celebrate the start of our new program year. First Church is extremely active both within the congregation and community, as well as outside of our local area. The church offers many programs and activities that appeal to all ages including Hands on Faith church school, vocal and hand bell choirs and special music programs, as well as many opportunities to serve in the community and beyond. This special kick-off event brings us together to learn what is planned for the coming year and to catch up with one another after the summer break.
9/20: Cabi Clothing Party! At 7 p.m.
9/23: Hands on Faith begins! 10 a.m. during Worship. HOF is an interactive faith-based program for youth to learn about Missionary Work, explore their faith, and work together to make a difference in the church and world!
