The Suffield Polish Heritage Society will hold its monthly meeting (first Wednesday) on October 3 at 10 a.m. in the Suffield Ambulance Center.
Our guest will be Bernie Olender, a member of the Polish Genealogical Society of CT and New England (PGSCTNE.) Bernie recently made a trip to Poland with that organization where he visited an ancestral village in what had been Galicia, in the Austrian Partition. Bernie has been associated with PGSCTNE for about 10 years, as Director, FaceBook manager and volunteer. Bernie will share some details and photos from his trip throughout southern Poland and into Ukraine.
Polish Heritage Society meetings are open to anyone who is interested in learning about, and perpetuating, the Polish culture.
