Worship at the First Church of Christ is every Sunday in the Sanctuary at 10 a.m. Hands on Faith (youth ministry) will be on November 11 and 25.
First Church is an Open and Affirming Church and is offering the following events in November:
November 3: Christmas in Suffield featuring a luncheon, craft and bake sales, Country Kitchen, Attic Treasures, raffles, Children’s Shopping Corner and a used book sale. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
November 5, 12, 19, 26: Qi Gong Classes from 10 to 11 a.m.
November 6: Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting at 10 a.m.
November 7: Communion Luncheon from noon to 1 p.m.
November 11: Music on High Presents Schola Cantorum. Schola Canotorum is an acclaimed 12-voice ensemble dedicated to the performance of renaissance sacred music. Directed by Frederick Jodry, the group has presented concerts throughout New England over the past 30 years and has been praised for their lively and engaging performance. They will present Tudor music from the time of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. Music from this era is extravagant, grand and expansive, written to accentuate the skill of highly trained choirs. Donation of $15 for adults, children up to 18 free.
November 18: Interfaith Thanksgiving Worship Service from 4 to 5:15 p.m.
