On May 11, the kids ride again…. The 2019 Suffield PMC Kids Ride, presented by First Suffield Bank, will be held at the McAlister School in Suffield. This will be the eighth year for the event.
Since 2012, the PMC Kids Ride and connected events have raised $251,000 for The Jimmy Fund through the Pan Mass Challenge. Each year has seen an increase in riders and the size of the donation, with $64,800 in 2018. Toward a goal of $70,000 in 2019, the event needs as many riders, sponsors and volunteers as possible. If you take part once, you will be back every year. Don’t forget the ongoing can/bottle drive, as Kids Ride organizers will take every redeemable can and bottle you have toward the same cause.
