Help Wanted

Preppers take text material submitted to the paper, and “prep” it in column format. They also serve as copy editors, adjusting details to the Observer’s standards (while preserving the writer’s individual “voice”).

Observer Editors Needed

We are currently recruiting monthly Editors. Being an editor is a perfect way to contribute to the Suffield community and have a meaningful one-time involvement with the production of the paper.

We Need Your Help

We will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Suffield Observer in May. We have located over half of the original volunteers and are seeking your help to contact the following volunteers whose names appeared on the masthead of the very first edition so that they can be included in the celebration.

Change in Catholic Churches

Suffield Catholic parishioners attending mass the first weekend in May were informed of news from the Archdiocese of Hartford that will greatly affect both St. Joseph and Sacred Heart parishes.
