Kent Memorial Library thrived this summer as our reading programs, contests and events brought in a record number of participants in many areas.
Summer reading is in full-swing, or should we say constant wag, as Tails & Tales features reading challenges, raffle tickets, weekly prizes and lots of programs to keep kids, teens and adults learning, growing and playing.
Looking for a way to keep the kids busy during the summer? Hoping to catch up on social interaction for your teens and yourself? Need help with computers, job services or even social services? Then Kent Memorial Library is the place for you.
Kent Memorial Library staff is busy at work transitioning from our year of Virtual Programming to a hybrid selection of in person and continued virtual options. Thanks to Zoom we’ve been able to stay connected with our patrons despite the pandemic restrictions.
The holidays are here, and KML is ready to help you enjoy them to the fullest with lots of fun programs!
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Harvest from everyone at Kent Memorial Library!
Suffield Youth Services and Kent Memorial Library are working together to help SHS students manage the stress of finals. Parents can encourage their students to attend the June 4 Study with A Therapy Dog session at the Youth Center located in the Senior Center on Bridge Street.
Suffield Youth Services and library Teen Programming has teamed up to offer Study with a Puppy on the first Tuesday of each month.
What a great month we had in January! Focused on Self-Care, we held a handmade bath fizzie workshop, teen skincare program, a study with a puppy program in conjunction with Youth Services and together sponsored a Good Luck/De–-Stress Table at the high school to give the students a boost of confidence as midterms began.
