If you love motorcycles, then you want to be at Hilltop Farm on Saturday, July 23. The Friends of the Farm at Hilltop (FOFAH) are once again hosting their popular Vintage Motorcycle Rally fundraiser in honor of George Hendee, co-founder of the Indian Motocycle Company in Springfield, Mass.

Bikes of every make and model are welcome!

Vintage Indians, new Indians, and other beautiful and interesting motorcycles will be on display. Gates open to the public at 10 a.m., and judging will begin at 1 p.m. Opportunities for rally sponsors and vendors are available. A donation of $10 per bike or per car is suggested.

For more information visit www.HilltopFarmSuffield.org/bikes, or eMail info@hilltopfarmsuffield.org.

The site of the rally is part of George Hendee’s original 500-acre Hilltop Farm. All proceeds will go toward restoring the 20,000 sq. ft. colonial revival dairy barn Hendee built in 1914. Hilltop Farm is located at 1616 Mapleton Ave., Rt. 159, Suffield, Conn.

The July 23 weekend boasts two other exciting events for motorcycle enthusiasts. Indian Motorcycle Day at the Springfield Museums is Sunday, July 24 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. The Lyman & Merrie Wood Museum is home to the largest collection of Indian cycles and memorabilia in the world. Also, Indian Motorcycle of Springfield (in Westfield, Mass.) will host its annual Indian Motorcycle Come Home Day rally from July 22 to July 24. Many visitors plan to make a weekend of it!
