The Town Landfill is no longer accepting any used motor oil from residents. Instead, you may put used motor oil in an unbreakable, screw top container next to your recycling cart. Label it as motor oil and place the container on the ground next to your blue cart. USA Hauling will pick up a maximum of one gallon of oil every other week.
No other chemical waste products are allowed. Things like antifreeze, kerosene and gasoline must be saved and disposed of at the Town’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day held on the second Saturday of April.
