Bowling Buddies celebrate a Beach Party Luau at Sunrise Park.
The season-end banquet for the Parks and Recreation Bowling Buddies Group was held at Sunrise Park on Tuesday, May 16. We had a Beach Party Luau themed BBQ party and the pavilion was transformed into a “Tiki Hut” to make the celebration even more special. The weather was perfect for our big Luau Party and awards ceremony at beautiful Sunrise Park. Everyone danced and sang the evening away as volunteer DJ-Kevin Landolina spun great music that kept everyone moving and grooving. Sunrise Park makes a perfect spot for special reunions and parties like this!
The Bowling Buddies group practices diligently for thirty weeks at Bradley Bowl starting in September and ending in May. Most of the group also participates in two Special Olympics Tournaments in the fall and represent Suffield very well. The banquet was held to recognize the hard work of the athletes and Special Partners. Each athlete received a trophy to recognize his or her impressive athleticism throughout the year engraved with their high games scores. Many thanks to Awards and More for the excellent engraving! Everyone really loved the delicious BBQ, music and awards ceremony at Sunrise Park.

Many thanks to Bradley Bowl for the donation of high quality trophies and plaques each year for the group. Bradley Bowl also was one of the main sponsors of the Invitational Tournament that was held in October for the group. If you are looking for great family fun for all ages throughout the year Bradley Bowl is guaranteed fun! Loaves and Fishes also donated many essential items to the banquet and we are very grateful.
