Market at Large Animal Facility

The Suffield Agriscience Center is hosting the Suffield Winter Farmers Market on Saturday, February 10 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Large Animal Facility. Our previous match up with Agriscience was for the wreath sale, and when we team up with them, it’s always a great gathering. There is always lots of enthusiasm and energy in that building and a few farm animals too! The students will have floral arrangements for sale, and there will be material to make your own floral arrangement as well.

The Farmers Market vendors will have an array of items including baked goods, jams and preserves, soaps, jewelry, plants, winter wear and other great Valentine’s Day gifts to treat yourself or others!

Suffield’s own Julie Harrison of WFSB fame will have a table with special farm and garden related items. Julie is a graduate of Suffield’s program and will be offering auction items to support her alma mater!

Here’s your chance to combine support of your town’s students, farmers and crafts people on a wintry Saturday and a great way to meet your “neighbors” and see this awesome building in use.

This will be the last Farmers Market for the winter, so better stock up. The Market will start up again in June back on the south green.
