Suffield’s Rachel Schuster is shown in her new shop in Windsor.

Suffield resident Rachel Schuster recently opened Ewe and You Fiber Arts in the heart of Windsor, located at 261 Broad Street – just behind the Chamber of Commerce and next to the post office.

This quaint shop offers a wide range of beautiful yarns, tools and other fiber arts supplies, and features every fiber type, including high-quality acrylics, alpaca and even yak. Ewe and You currently showcases the work of two independent dyers as well – River Valley Farm and Squirrel Mountain. Materials for hand spinning and needle felting are also available. The store has a variety of ready-to-go project kits and gift certificates in any denomination for the knitter in your life. Finishing services and custom orders are also available upon request.

Classes are by appointment, with a schedule to accommodate nearly all learning levels and interests to include basic knitting and crocheting skills, pattern reading and individual project help. Classes can be scheduled during regular store hours or after hours as available. You can sign up on Facebook, through the store’s website (www.eweandyoufiberarts.com) or by calling 860-990-5230. Knitters and crocheters of all levels are always welcome to sit a spell and make some new friends. The community feel of the space is cozy, inviting, beautifully decorated and even includes a small play area for kids!

The store hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from noon to 8, and Saturday from 10 to 3.

You can stay up-to-date with the happenings and events at Ewe and You Fiber Arts by following the shop on Facebook, Instagram, Google and Ravelry.com.
