The Kindergarten Circus came to A. Ward Spaulding School on June 3rd. This annual tradition, serving as the culminating performance from the reading and writing unit entitled Poetry and Songs, is loved by students, staff, families, and friends.

The students were eager to implement the skills that they learned this year through singing, sign language, dancing, math, reading, and fitness. In addition, students showed off their jump rope skills, ribbon twirling, hula hoop abilities, and gymnastic talents.

All of these talents appeared in the following exciting acts: The Shining Star Singers, Strong Kids, Amazing Acrobats, Dynamic Dancers, Terrific Twirlers, and the Groovy Button Band.

The audience was captivated by the clowns’ funny antics while learning the ABC’s of the circus. The show kept the audience engaged and smiling from beginning to end! Each year the circus leaves the audience applauding the hard work of each and every kindergarten student who are so enthusiastic about this event.
