Long-time Scouter Honored

Retired Boy Scout volunteer Lester Smith is pictured smiling with the award plaque and the special engineer’s cap he was given at a Troop 260 Family Night. He was honored for his service to the troop for more than 45 years, which involved many roles and responsibilities as a member of the Troop Committee, including Treasurer, Secretary, interim acting Scoutmaster, and paper drive chairman.
