National Public Lands Day is celebrated annually on Saturday, September 24 at public lands throughout the United States. This day promotes both popular enjoyment and volunteer conservation of public parks and conservation areas. Sunrise Park, Hilltop Farm Open Space and other spaces owned by the Town and the Suffield Land Trust are managed or enhanced by volunteers for the entire community. On Saturday, September 24, take a walk in Suffield’s parks or on her trails and enjoy what volunteers, Scouts and others have made possible for all of us. Enjoy what makes Suffield a special place, indeed!
