Parks and Rec LogoGirls Field Hockey

The fall Field Hockey program begins September 13, and now is the time to register your daughter for this program. Register at www.suffieldrec.com.

This recreational program will introduce girls in grades 3 – 5 to the basic skills and fundamentals of the sport. The program will be held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the middle school field inside the track.

Fall Bus Trips

On Saturday, October 1, join us at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival in Saugerties, New York. The cost is $56.

On Saturday, October 8 spend a day in the Big Apple! This New York City trip cost is $40.

On Saturday, December 3 we are headed back to New York City. The holiday season is an exciting time to visit the city and see the beautiful store windows, decorations, the famous Rockefeller Plaza tree and of course to shop! The cost is $40. Seats go quickly for the December trip – so purchase your spot early!

Bowling Buddies Group

Do you love to have fun, make new friends and get some exercise? If so, the Bowling Buddies program is for you! The Suffield Parks and Recreation Department’s Bowling Buddies program practices each Tuesday from September 13 through May at Bradley Bowl in Windsor Locks from 4:30–6:45 p.m. and is looking for new members, volunteers, coaches and Special Partners.

If you would like to participate or be a part of any of our special programs, please contact Donna Carney-Bastrzycki, Special Programs Coordinator at 860-668-3862. You must pre-register. The group is for adults and high school students. We also go on many fun outings and nights out throughout the year. Sign up and join in on the fun!
