Suffield High School senior Madison D’Ostuni is pictured with her new banner as Miss Northern States.

Miss Madison D’Ostuni, age 16 and a senior at Suffield High School, has been selected to represent Northern States (the New England states) at the 2016 Miss American Teen Pageant. In addition to her title, Madison is the “Photogenic” title winner and a finalist in the “Talent” competitions.

As the Miss Northern States Teen, Madison will be attending the National Pageant for her age group in Florida at Walt Disney World during the week of Thanksgiving 2016. She will compete for the National Pageant title of Miss American Teen and thousands of dollars in cash awards, prizes and scholarships.

Nationwide, State Winners and State Pageant Finalists will compete in the 33rd annual national scholarship competition organized by American Coed Pageants, Inc. American Coed Pageants, Inc., annually holds state pageants for the purpose of recognizing and rewarding outstanding young women between the ages of three and twenty-three for their past and present accomplishments and to encourage them to set and achieve high goals for the future.

Madison plans to earn a degree in computer science to become a user interface, bringing together the needs of global organizations with creative solutions from programmers. Madison gives “thanks to my parents, Suffield schools and community groups for experiences that keep developing my skills and desire to help others and build strong communities everywhere.”
