At Spaulding School, Trick or Treat for Pets is back! During the month of October, Spaulding Star students will demonstrate responsibility and kindness by collecting dog and cat food (bagged and canned), treats, and toys. All donated pet food must be unopened and unexpired.
These donations will benefit the Suffield Emergency Aid and the food pantry at the Newington Humane Society. These pet food pantries, which help pet owners who are struggling financially, provide people with an alternative to surrendering their pets to shelters.
Last year, students and staff at Spaulding School were enthusiastic about collecting more than just candy for Halloween! We are looking forward to another successful year. Trick or Treat!
