The Suffield Winter Farmer’s Market is back for its third year, making local produce and craft items available for the holidays and into January and February.
The first Market will be the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Winter Markets will be held indoors at the Suffield High School Commons with a few of the market dates being held at the Large Animal Facility (LAF) in conjunction with the Agriscience program. This means shoppers and vendors can do business in a great area with easy access and parking.
Market dates are all on Saturdays: November 19, December 3, December 17, January 14, January 28, and February 11. The December 3 market will be in conjunction with the Agriscience Christmas sale in the Large Animal Facility (LAF) in the northeast corner of the high school grounds, and the February 11 market will also be in the LAF.
Market hours will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and there are slots still available for vendors.
Let’s use local vegetables, fruit, eggs, honey, baked goods, jams, herbs, and craft items during the winter months, buying local and supporting our farmers!
