Parents Helene Segool, Carol Chipkin, and Robert Howe, Sr., join in with Paul Chabot and a crowd of almost a hundred when the Parks & Rec Bowling Buddies gathered at the Country Club for their annual holiday dinner party on December 13. The excellent dinner by Sam Karagiannis of the Sunset Tavern and the happy dancing with DJ Kevin Landolina made for a most successful party.
The Suffield Parks and Recreation Department Bowling Buddies group celebrated the annual Holiday banquet again this year in the Sunset Grille at the Suffield Country Club. The setting was perfect and food was delicious. We had a festive and fabulous evening that was filled with dancing, singing and enjoying the tasty food. There were around 75 participants. The athletes, volunteers and special partners celebrated their achievements of the season thus far. Many thanks to the Sunset Tavern staff for making the night so very memorable. This is an excellent location for dinners and events with great food, atmosphere and accommodating staff. It is open to non Country Club members as well.
The night would not be possible without the help of many volunteers including: DJ- Kevin Landolina who provided incredible music the whole night long and all of the special partners including Bernice Hollander who volunteer each week and help make the program possible.

We practice every Tuesday at Bradley Bowl, 4:30-7 p.m. and also go on many fun outings throughout the year. The group is geared for participants age 14 through adult. You must pre-register for this program. Volunteers are always needed and welcome!!
