There are training classes that will be held in nearby facilities during the April school vacation (April 10-14), the perfect time to train to become a lifeguard.
This summer Babb’s Beach located on Congamond Lake will be open for swimming and lifeguards will be needed to work at this waterfront. In addition, Sunrise Day Camp will be seeking lifeguards to work at this outdoor summer day camp program. Sunrise lifeguards assist in teaching swimming lessons and guard at White’s Pond.
The Parks & Recreation Department is looking for qualified waterfront staff for these summer programs. Applicants must have current Lifeguard and Waterfront Certifications along with first aid and C.P.R. training.
