March has arrived and we are experiencing longer hours of sunlight and the hint of spring is in the air. Outdoor spring activities are gearing up and now is the time to register you or your children for a program or lessons.

Join in these exciting programs for youth and adults.

Girls and Boys Tee Ball

For kindergarten, first and second grades. Tee ball is held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at Spaulding Field, beginning April 19.

Girls Softball

For grades 3–5. Girls Softball is held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at Bruce Park, beginning April 19.

Easter

Children will have fun at an Easter crafts class and egg hunt which will be held on April 5.

Golf Lessons

For ages 9–13 and for adults will be held at Copper Hill Golf Academy in East Granby beginning the end of April.

Tennis Lessons

For ages 8–15 and for adults will be held at the Family Recreation Complex this spring.

Fitness Programs

A variety of fitness and exercise classes will also begin including Lunch Time Walkers, Speed Clinic Training, Trash to Treasure Recycling Craft Class, Children’s Fitness Challenge, Tiny Tumblers, Spring Shape Up challenge and Boxillates.

If you are looking for a day out to New York City, a bus trip to the City is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, and we are currently accepting registrations.
