Thank you to the Suffield Players who hosted our second annual event to wrap up our Dine Local month. During the entire month of February, participating restaurants in Suffield had decks of playing cards to hand out to each customer. The goal was to hold onto your best “Poker Hand” for a chance to win.
Our winner this year was Ruth Greenberger, who walked away with a $25 gift certificate to each of the eight participating restaurants! Additionally, we drew eight individual names who each won one $25 gift certificate. Special thanks goes to Seasons Restaurant, at Suffield by the River, for a wonderful spread of cheese and hot hors d’oeuvres. Special guest Broad Brook Brewing Company demonstrated a few of their popular brews by having a sample pouring available to all who attended. We also thank Highland Park Market for their donation of items for the event. Thank you 3-Figs, Francesco’s, Pizza Pi, Season’s Restaurant, Suffield Pizza, The Sunset Tavern, Tosca, and Zantos for participating.
