Recently teachers at Spaulding School participated in a teacher-led learning opportunity relative to instructional technology. Lisa Hamel (grade 1 teacher), Shannon Insero (library media specialist), Richard Lane (technology integrationist), and Charles Hershon, Michelle Killam, and Cynthia Pfaff from Suffield Middle School) shared their expertise in areas such as LiveBinder, literacy apps on Google tablets, Google Forms and Google Classroom.

A long-term goal of the school’s improvement plan focuses on building teacher growth through teacher-led learning and collaboration time. This event provided a purposeful venue for teachers to share best practices in the area of technology with the intended purpose of impacting student learning outcomes.
