Honor your mother or other special person in your life with this unique experience in one of Connecticut’s most lovely settings. A tour of the house and gardens will conclude with a traditional tea service featuring quiche, savory sandwiches, scones with homemade lemon curd and jam, cake and tea served by Mrs. Phelps! Learn about the significant social and political roles that tea played in the Revolutionary War & the years that followed. Young guests are welcome to don a period costume for the afternoon.

Admission is $25 per adult, $20 for members and $15 per child. Registration is required as space is limited; a second seating may be offered to accommodate all requests. Please respond to Phelps.hatheway@ctlandmarks.org or call (860) 668-0055.

Admission for Suffield residents is $5. The house is open  May through October, Saturday and Sunday, 1–4 p.m.
