The Suffield Arts Council will host an exhibit of photographs featuring race cars, drivers, and action shots by Pat Thomas of West Suffield and friend David Hughes.
Thirty years of covering motor sports from Nascar to Grand Prix has resulted in images sure to please not only the auto enthusiast but those who appreciate fine photography. Here you will find racing action, famous race cars, and world class drivers. Think Andretti, Senna, Newman, and Earnhardt. Automotive marques will include Porsche and Ferrari.
The exhibit runs from July 1 to July 31 at the Suffield library, found in temporary quarters at 61 Ffyler Place, off Mountain Road.
The photographers will host a reception, open to the public, on Thursday evening, July 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the library. Come meet them, view the photos, enjoy refreshments, join in discussions on racing in all its forms.
