The Kent Memorial Library was awarded $500 from the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation to provide a pop-up library at the Farmer’s Market this summer. The library is one of 64 recipients from across the country. The grant funds activities and crafts for children while parents/caregivers shop. The library will also bring library materials for all ages which can be checked out right at the market.

Additionally, the Children’s Department of the library received $800 from the Friends of Suffield for books for Summer Reading and graphic novels.

The library is very grateful for these awards to enrich the learning experience of Suffield children.
