Calling all campers and budding historians! The Phelps-Hatheway House and Garden has an exciting week planned for you from July 31-August 4, 2017!
Have you ever worn a tricorn hat? Spun wool? Learned lessons on a horn book? Dyed linen using plants? Each day at camp will teach you new skills, crafts, and games common to the late 18th and 19th centuries. We’ll also learn about Suffield and Connecticut history and have a special visit to the King House and the Old Burial Ground.
On the final day of camp, music and dancing (with colonial inspired treats!) will fill the air!
Colonial Adventure Camp at Phelps-Hatheway House and Garden for ages 8-12, Monday, July 31-Friday, August 4, 2017, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost for one camper is $200/week with discounts for CTL members and siblings.
