In the New England Air Museum’s military hangar, a shiny bright Corvette is pictured next to an equally bright but half-century-older F-100 Super Sabre.
The New England Air Museum will host a Jets & Vettes Car Show on Sunday September 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All Chevrolet Corvettes are welcome to show. All in attendance have the opportunity to take a photograph with one of the Museum’s historic jets.
Registration begins at the 9 a.m. show; the field gate closes at 3:30 p.m. Show car admission is $20 for the driver and one passenger, museum admission is included. General admission to the museum includes admission to the car show. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Vintage and Best of Show. All proceeds will benefit the New England Air Museum’s aircraft restoration. Rain date is Sunday, September 17.
