The Suffield Senior Center and The Emergency Aid Association are sponsoring an interesting exercise program to help beat Parkinson disease. It involves boxing and functional interval training. That is a proven program that is an aid to everyday living. It encourages brain stimulation and challenges balance and stability and is scalable to each individual within the group class.

To see details, videos and pictures, look on the web at www.beatpdtoday.com. There have been two six week sessions recently with very positive results so those who are interested in this program should call the Senior Center at 860-668-8830 for more information and express a desire to join a future six classes for $30.
