McAlister Intermediate School has a new addition to its playscape! Mrs. Kelly Rypysc and Mrs. Stephanie Dolan worked in conjunction with the Foundation for Exceptional Children of Suffield (FECS) to purchase a buddy bench for our school. They were inspired by the buddy bench at Spaulding School and were excited to provide one for McAlister. Mrs. Pakula, our library media specialist, is currently working on creating a buddy bench introduction video with two of our fourth grade classes. When the video is completed, we look forward to presenting it to all McAlister students. We are so very grateful to both Mrs. Rypysc and Mrs. Dolan for leading this project at our school.
