Suffield Woman’s Club Members (SWC) thoroughly enjoyed Enfield poet Ellen Rita Evans at their February 13 meeting. A very animated Evans recited her poems with some of her life stories peppered throughout the presentation. She delighted club members with her homemade candy cane hearts and ‘belly button brushes’ that she handed out. Her poetry books were available to purchase. Ms Evans is from Enfield and has been on TV and radio and does presentations in the region.
