SHS Best Buddies found an empty space in the parking garage for their group photo during a Friendship Walk at Quinnipiac University.

The Best Buddies Club at Suffield High School is dedicated to ending the stigma and isolation of the intellectually and developmentally disabled population. The club is open to any student at Suffield High School and brings students together to participate in fun activities both inside and outside the school setting.

Students enjoy pizza parties, arts and crafts, are involved in the community, attend Best Buddies events throughout the state, and hold various fundraisers during the school year. The Best Buddies Club offers college scholarship opportunities as well as individual awards for student leaders. At Suffield High School, the students who make up the Best Buddies Club work together to plan the monthly meetings which all center on the theme of inclusion, respect, and friendship.
