Program for Kids and Teens: Starts February 2

Read, earn a free raffle ticket each week for a grand prize, and spin the wheel for fun giveaways! Sponsored by the Friends of Kent Memorial Library.

Candy Making: Saturday, February 2 at 10 a.m.,

11a.m., or 1 p.m.

Dip, roll and design chocolate treats for Valentine’s Day during this tasty 45 minute program (kids in grades 1 – 5). Sponsored by the Friends of Kent Memorial Library. Registration required.

Wednesday Story Time: Starts February 6 at 10:15 a.m.

It will be seven weeks of story time, and it all starts on February 6 with Amanda from Enfield Pediatric Dentistry. She will be reading to us, teaching us how to take care of teeth — and she’s bringing a craft too!!

Zumbini: Wednesday,

February 13 at 10:15 a.m.

From infant to age 5, wiggle, sing and dance along with Deb from Dance Amore Studios. Sponsored by Friends of Kent Memorial Library.

Chinese Paper Cutting:

Saturday, February 23 at 10:30 a.m.

Learn the art of Chinese traditional paper cutting and color a frame for the artwork you make. Kindergarten to grade 5. Sponsored by Friends of Kent Memorial Library. Registration required.

Read to a Dog: 

Saturday, February 16

(10:30 –11:30 a.m.)

Practice reading – to a dog! Individual reading sessions last 15 minutes (10:30–11:30 a.m.) Working on your reading? Feeling a bit shy about reading? Want to show off your skills? Come read to a certified dog from Healers with Halo’s. Check them out at www.boltonvet.com. Registration required.
