Karen Labeau, the Lily House innkeeper, prepares for guests.

Lily House Bed and Breakfast, the only remaining Suffield B&B, has new owners as of November 2018. Lorraine and Mike Mancini sold their 15 year-old business to Suffield residents Tiffany and Camile Hannoush. The Hannoushes feel Lily House, on Bridge Street right in the heart of downtown with history dating back to 1720, is rich with charm, character, and uniqueness. Guests visit from all over the world and include Suffield Academy parents, business travelers, and folks just looking to relax at a place offering all the comforts of home. Lily House also hosts events and special occasions, including local business meetings, family showers, and even a book signing which is scheduled for March. The Lily House offers a warm and inviting experience where guests enjoy above and beyond service.

Tiffany handles day-to-day operations, and her mother, Karen Labeau, is the innkeeper. Karen relocated from Sandwich, Mass., and lives on the premises. Karen warmly greets guests, ensuring they feel at home. She confirms the time and menu desired for the next morning. She uses all natural and organic ingredients in the photo-worthy breakfasts she prepares and serves. Karen also oversees the beautiful interior of the home. Since the purchase, all linens and pillows have been replaced, some furniture has been updated, and the dining room was expanded to offer a large family size table that seats 12. They hope to eventually add on a building to accommodate a full day spa to offer treatments and services, which should translate into more revenue for the community as those customers visit surrounding businesses.

Tiffany and Camile are parents to three boys and are also area business owners. They own Massachusetts and New York Gift-ology locations as well as Hannoush Jewelers in Trumbull, Springfield MGM and two Florida locations. They are part owners of the Springfield Country Club, which enables them to customize packages for golfing, fine dining restaurants and Lily House accommodations. See more at www.lilyhouse.com.
