The Suffield Regional FFA Chapter will be holding an Ag Expo at the Suffield High School located on 1060 Sheldon Street West Suffield, Conn. The Ag Expo will run on Wednesday April 10 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and provides countless opportunities for hands-on activities related to all areas of agriculture.

Groups of agriscience students will lead tours throughout the different agriscience rooms, each designed to represent a specific area within the agriculture industry, from natural resources and aquaculture to large animals in our Large Animal Facility and floriculture. Each room contains fun and engaging hands-on activities to educate and involve children and students in the agricultural experience. Students, children and adults can visit with a variety of livestock animals such as horses and cows and then move to plant-a-plant stations where they immerse themselves into the horticulture industry.

One of the most popular features of the Ag Expo is the petting zoo held in the Large Animal Facility and is filled with a wide variety of animals. Throughout the Ag Expo students also develop and present educational and interesting demonstrations for the public, students and tour groups that integrate all areas of agriculture.

Come join us for this incredible opportunity, and immerse yourself into the world of agriculture! Public is welcome on Wedneday from 2:30 p.m. — 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2:30 p.m. — 4 p.m. If you have a group interested in scheduling a tour, please call the agriscience office at 860- 668-3817.
