The fields and streams of Hilltop Farm are a great place to learn about the outside world.

New this year:  week-long programs include Poetry in Nature and two Children’s Yoga Programs.

Poetry in Nature

Program, Grades 1-4

Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

June 24-28

Finding inspiration and appreciation in nature for young poets. On Friday, we will be holding a poetry reading where poets will share the work created over the week.

Fee: $175 for the week

Little Bugs, Ages 4-6

Tuesdays, July 9 and 16

Wednesdays, August 7 and 14

10 a.m. to noon

Young children will have fun and learn the basics of examining the out of doors.

Fee:  $20 each Session

Nature Explorers, Ages 6-9

Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Session I, July 15-19

Session II, August 5-9

This is an introduction to the scientific exploration of the ecology of the Hilltop grasses and meadows.

Fee: $150 for each week

Hilltop Adventurers

Ages 10-12 or older

Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Session I, July 22-26

Session II, August 12-16

The habitat of plants, birds, mammals, fish, insects and invasive pathology will be explored.

Fee: $175 for each week

Children’s Yoga Program, All Ages 4+

Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. to noon

Session I, July 8-12

Session II, July 29-August 2

Participants learn breathing techniques, practice partner yoga, and play yoga-related games. Children complete a project to help restore Hilltop Farm. Fee: $175 for each week

Other programs for all ages include Sunday Morning Yoga on the Farm at 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday Evening Yoga on the Farm at 6 p.m. Programs run between May 12 and September 29. Fee: $10 per session.
