Suffield Land Conservancy’s Annual Spring Programs are a wonderful opportunity to connect with the outdoors, discover wildflowers, explore the forests and uncover different species of birds that are right in your very own backyards.

Trail Day Hike

We will be having our annual CT Trail Day Hike as well, at the start of June. Please check our new Facebook page – The Suffield Land Conservancy – for an update and confirmation of date and time. As of now, it will be held on Saturday, June 1, at 10 a.m., rain or shine. Please meet at the Alcorn property, intersection of Phelps and Mountain Road. As you are going up the mountain into West Suffield, it is on the right hand side. Explore our very own trails on this beginner two-mile hike. With a nice view of Springfield, possible pink lady slippers and a fair number of birds, this is the perfect opportunity to uncover one of the wonderful trails our town has to offer.

Trail Day Clean Up

We will be having our Trail Day Clean Up Sunday, June 2, at 11 a.m., rain or shine at our South Grand property. Spend a day with us, helping to build trails and continue the clean-up of our newly acquired property on South Grand. Please come prepared with gloves, boots, insect repellent and appropriate clothing for outdoor work. Just to note, there is possibly poison ivy and ticks located on the property, so come prepared.
