The Suffield Parks and Rec department is excited to announce a Summer 5K Series at Bruce Park, on the high school’s cross country course. Races will be every Tuesday at 6 p.m. from June 18 through July 16.
Charles Brydges, a rising senior at Suffield High School, is organizing the races for the Department.
“I’ve participated in similar races in nearby towns for five or six years. I’m excited for Suffield to have a similar race series”, said Mr. Brydges. “Suffield is full of runners, and this will be a chance for them to run as a group and have fun.”
Races will cost $5 for adults, and $3 for kids under 14.
